As stated earlier, the extended Lucky Clover MYO item and New Leaf slots have expired. For those who submitted recently, you have a five day grace period to resubmit that ends on Monday, May 20th 10PM EST. There will be no further extensions or grace periods.

As a memento of the now retired New Leaf event, you can claim a free Lucky Clover (Keepsake) from Cosette's Souvenir from now until Wednesday, June 5th 10PM EST.

Additionally, there a few site updates! Mainly, a new activity and two new dailies!

You can now donate weekly to Watcher's Guild and earn gratitude from Yue!

A new permanent daily, Looking After Lennox, has been added. Spend a rather unpredictable day with Lennox for a variety of rewards.

Another permanent daily, Malcolm's Mailpile, has also been added. You'll earn Malcolm's gratitude by helping him sort through his piles and piles of mail...

New Feature: Trait & Pruner Items

To help streamline the MYO submission process, traits items such as souvenirs now have a Trait classification! Now when you add them to your MYO submission, you no longer have to go through and select the trait as the matching trait will be automatically selected. Conversely, items that would be needed to remove traits for redesigns now have the Pruner classification.

May is here! With summer right around the corner, let's enjoy the last month of spring in the sun--Hey, why is the sky so cloudy?

event: rainy season

Ends july 5th 10PM EST

Indeed, Latorre's Rainy Season has started.  A natural phenomenon that sweeps the planet, some cossetlings love the rain and welcome the extra water. Others feel quite overwatered and look forward to the sun rising again during summer's peak. In fact, this is such a hot topic for debate among cossetlings to the point they pick sides!

The Rainy Season is a team event. Choose Team Rain or Team Shine and earn event currency for your team to win!

Note: You must join a team in order to collect event currency.

Rainy Season Currency: Mini Raincatchers

These miniature raincatchers are small charms cossetlings carry with them during the Rainy Season to ward off bad weather and collect rainwater for later use. Collect one mini raincatcher daily from a Small Puddle with a goldleaves reward for not missing a day near the end of each event month. Exchange them at the Crowded Station for a various items or give them to an Unlucky Stranger for gratitude if they don't immediately rush off! You can also transmogrify glass bottles and jars into raincatchers with Glass to Catch until the Rainy Season ends.

You can earn more mini raincatchers from the limited-time event prompts: Chasing Clouds, Catch the Rain, It's Raining, It's Pouring

With team spirit in mind, collab submissions will be accepted for this event's prompts!

Completing all three event prompts will let you complete the Rainy Season prompt with an award of goldleaves, mini raincatchers, and a special event memento depending on which team you picked: Rainswept Diorama or Sunlit Diorama

Additionally, everyone who completes the Rainy Season prompt can obtain an exclusive lamba cosprout when the event ends. How the cosprout looks depends on the winning team so make sure to collect a lot of mini raincatchers for your team to win! There may also be another reward depending on the number of raincatchers both teams collect.

Mini Raincatchers will vanish on Wednesday, July 10th 10PM EST so make sure to use them before then.

And, in all this rain, Cosette has found a new souvenir!

May's Souvenir: Weather Report

This informative souvenir will cause clouds to appear and form around a cossetling.

Weather Report will be available until June 5th in Cosette's Souvenirs and June 10th in Crowded Station.

And though the lapitos have went down their rabbit holes, it seems the Rainy Season has brought out a new cosprout.

Event Cosprout: Patoy

Available in May, June

Social and outgoing, these duck-like cosprouts generally prefer the company of their own flock over cossetlings. Bother one at your own risk as they can have a fowl temper, chasing cossetlings away while nipping at their flower hooves. However, patoys absolutely love the rain and are the easiest to befriend during the Rainy Season.

Along with the Rainy Season, it appears another phenomenon has happened: two new cossetling subtypes!

introducing: rooted and wonder cossetlings

Mentioned in the Help Wanted storyline, Rooted and Wonder Cossetlings are two rare subtypes with magic that manifests differently from regular cossetlings. To learn more about these subtypes, please read Wonderful Roots in the guidebook.

Unlike the Charmed subtype, Rooted and Wonder is something a cossetling is born as and not transformed into. To make your own rooted or wonder cossetling, you'll need their respective MYO item. How? Well, the new NPC can help.

Yue, the matriach of the Watcher's Guild who debuted in the Help Wanted storyline, has cultivated a following among cossetlings including rooteds and wonders. Visit her in the Serene Glade for either a Watcher's Fruit (Rooted) or a Watcher's Fruit (Wonder). Do note these rare fruits are available every other season and are randomly stocked. Watcher's Fruit (Rooted) will be available in Spring and Fall while Watcher's Fruit (Wonder) in Summer and Winter.

Additionally, Yue's not too interested in wealth beyond donations to keep her guild running. As a religious figure, she'd rather have praise, devotion, and gratitude. Therefore, rooted and wonder's watcher fruits can only be purchased with gratitude.

However, since May is the last month of spring, Yue has decided to raffle off one Watcher's Fruit (Rooted)! You can buy raffle tickets from the Serene Glade and Crowded Station until Wednesday, June 5th 10PM EST.

However, she'll accept goldleaves for her special item: Lotus Incense

Meditiation with this incense will grant a standard cossetling the Detached trait.

And with this update, there will now be rooted and wonder cossetling adopts along with their respective watcher's fruits being made available during the seasonal MYO sales. Stay tune!

Also with Yue, all the main NPCs have been introduced! To celebrate...

May is the last month of spring! As such the following items and pets will no longer be available in any official site shops after Monday, June 10th 10PM EST: Everbloom Branch (Seasonal Souvenir), Weather Report (Seasonal Souvenir), Bebom (Seasonal Cosprout), Fairytales for Beboms (Vol. 1) (Storybook), Fruit Preserves (Vol. 1) (Recipe Book)

These items and pets will return next spring. ^^

The Lucky Clover MYO item and New Leaf slots will expire on Wednesday, May 15th 10PM EST. Make sure to submit before then!

Due to recent Discord changes (notably links expiring after a certain time), prompt submissions that include discord links will no longer be accepted.

You can now add Souvenirs, Souvenirs (Seasonal), Enchanted Item, Magic Food, and Ingredients to your cossetling's inventory where they'll be displayed alongside your cossetling's keepsakes!

There's also some new site features!

New Feature: Flora

Cossetlings can now display which flora they are on their profiles!  You can also search for a flower or plant under 'Advanced Search Options' on the masterlists. You can be specific (i.e. Black Calla Lily) or more general (i.e. Lily).

As such, you no longer need to say which flower or leaf your cossetling is in the comments section when submitting a MYO. Instead, you should you say so under Flora in the 'Traits' section. This will be required in order for your submission to go through.

For already approved cossetlings, please submit a claim, select your cossetling(s) under 'Characters' by entering their character code (MYO-###) and under comments say which flower or leaf your cossetling(s) is. This will be a manual update so I ask for your patience!

There's also another new feature!

New Feature: Links

Does your cossetling have friends, family, or... enemies? Well, you can now link your cossetlings to each other! Do so by visiting your cossetling's profile and clicking 'Links' on the sidebar. There you can link your cossetlings together or request a link to another user's cossetling, describe what kind of relationship these two cossetlings have, and your cossetling's thoughts on it.

If you're rather not your cossetling be linked, switch 'Allow Link Requests' to off when editing your cossetling's profile.

Just a small update to say non-extended Lucky Clovers and New Leaf slots have now expired and no longer accessible. If you applied for an extension, you should still have your clover or slot! As a reminder, extended Lucky Clovers/New Leaf slots will expire on Wednesday, May 15th 10PM EST.

There has also been a small update to prompts with the addition of several general prompts and a new seasonal prompt! As such, the general 'Cossetlings' and 'Heralds' prompts have now been retired. More general prompts will be added in the future.

You can also find new ingredients while traveling along with a few new magic food spells. There's also now a permanent activity where you can turn in small glass bottles in exchange for other glass items.

And guest artist applications are open from now until Monday, April 15th 10PM EST! If you're interested in designing cossetling adopts, you can apply here. There's only a few positions (between 2-3) available so please don't get discouraged if you aren't selected. Thanks in advance to anyone who decies to apply!

It's April, the second Spring month! And there's a few things to say.

event: flower fairy festival

The Flower Fairy Festival is still ongoing! As a reminder, it ends on May 5th 10PM EST.

There's also a new seasonal souvenir this month!

April's Souvenir: Floral Brush & Comb

This chic souvenir will turn a cossetling's hair into flower petals or leaves.

Floral Brush & Comb will be available until May 5th in Cosette's Souvenirs and May 10th in Butterfly Gazebo.

And it seems Malcolm has published a new storybook inspired by the Flower Fairy Festival!

Event Storybook: Grimm Tales (First Edition)

This collection of magical tales will enchant a cosprout to look like a fairytale character.

Grimm Tales (First Edition) and its matching snippet will be available in the Secluded Cottage until May 5th and in the Butterfly Gazebo until May 10th.

Additionally, the next chapter in the Help Wanted storyline will be released on April 20th. 📖

Lastly, the Lucky Clover MYO item and New Leaf slots will expire on April 10th 10PM EST.

If you'll like an extension for your Lucky Clover or New Leaf slot, please fill out this form. Do note, this extension is until May 15th 10PM EST. There will be no further extensions.

A dark mode for the site is now available! To change the site's theme, go to Settings and under 'Theme' select 'Dark Mode' as the base theme. If anything looks wonky, please hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R) or clear your browser's cache.

The reward tally for writing has been adjusted to earn goldleaves for an +100 words instead of +200 words. And there will be a reward tally guide in the future.

🌱 introducing: recipe books

Recipe books will now appear ever so often in event shops! Opening a book will unlock spells that will allow you to spellcast magic foods and enchanted foods that can be sold for goldleaves directly from your inventory.

Fruit Preserves (Vol. 1) is all about jam. Unlocking these spells will let you create yummy jam bread!

And on the topic of jam, new berries can now be found when traveling to Hieland Hills.

On another note, the Feedback form is available again. All comments and suggestions are welcome and considered! On that end, a dark mode theme for the site is currently being worked on along with some shop prices being adjusted.

The price of a Watcher's Fruit in Whitley's Farm has been adjusted to 400 goldleaves.

The price of a Watcher's Fruit (First-Fruit) has been adjusted to 200 goldleaves.

The price of a Watcher's Fruit (Gratitude) has been adjusted to 400 gratitude.

Watcher's Fruit (First-Fruit) has also been restocked! Do note, the Watcher's Fruit (First-Fruit) restocks one a month while the Watcher's Fruit restocks sporadically.
