Rooted and Wonder are subspecies (classified onsite as subtypes) of cossetlings. They're characterized by their unique horns and the way their magic manifests. Because of their nature, a cossetling can only be born as rooted or wonder and cannot be transformed into one by any means. As such, they have their own respective watcher's fruit.

✿ About Rooted

When a cossetling is born with a strong affinity to the Watcher's Tree, their horns manifest in a way to resemble its roots, forming antlers. Rooted Cossetlings are also considered to be more deer-like in nature.

✿ About Wonder

When a cossetling is born with a strong affinity to the Watcher's original celestial realm, their horns manifest together, pointed skyward, forming a singular horn. Wonder Cossetlings are also considered to be more unicorn-like in nature.

While regular cossetlings only have bovine-like horns (or none at all), rooted and wonder cossetlings always have their respective horns. Their horns are quite important to them. After all, they host part of their magic along with their flower tail(s). This heightened magic allows the Detached trait to come naturally to them and can be used without Yue's incense, they also gain gratitude once per week not unlike charmed cossetlings. It also affects the way their flower tails look!

The flower tails of rooted and wonder cossetlings can be buds (closed or partially opened) or, for leaves, furled. They can also be fully opened as is standard for cossetlings. Applelopolis Scholars theorize because their horns are also sources of magic, their flower tails do not have to be fully open to use it. Much like flower hooves, bud/furled tails remain as they are and do not open and close. However, they still have a Watcher's Eye which should be drawn seperately for the masterlist if not visible.
