- Please be kind and respectful to all users.
- You must be 18 years or older to join this site or any associated Cossetlings webspaces. (Discord, etc.) Cossetlings is not intended for anyone below the age of 18 and anyone found breaking this rule will be banned. This includes of age users involving underage individuals with Cossetlings by character trading, gifting, commissioning, etc.
- That being said, content in official spaces cannot be explicit in nature.
- Cossetlings is a closed adoptable species and can only be transferred through this site. You cannot create an official one without a MYO (make-your-own) item. Only Cossetlings on the masterlists are considered official and can be used on site, for prompts, etc.
- You must have an account on Cossetlings.com to own a Cossetling.
- Payment for official/guest adopt sales is required within 48 hours unless otherwise discussed.
- All transactions made with real or virtual in-game currency are final and non-refundable.
- Cossetlings that are obtained for free through events, raffles, etc. cannot be sold without commissioned art but they can be gifted or traded.
- Otherwise, there is no cooldown or resell/trade limit for Cossetlings, the standard MYO item, other items, and species currency ('goldleaves', 'GL'). In case of misuse, limits may be added in the future.
- Submitted work must be your own or properly-credited commissions. Users who submit work that is stolen, traced, or infringes on copyrighted IP may be striked or banned. AI work is not allowed.
- Work must be unique! This means no bases or reusing other/previous work.
Cossetlings is meant to be a laidback relaxing ARPG, just like the Cossetlings themselves. Take it easy and have fun!

✿ How do I get a MYO item?
By purchasing one with USD during a MYO sale, species currency ('goldleaves') here, and via gift or trade.
✿ Why do I have to be 18+ to join Cossetlings?
To comply with Paypal ToS, general content warnings, and because of the interactive community aspect. This is an adult space for adults. Please respect this.
✿ How I verify my email and/or account?
A verification link is sent to your email address once you've registered an account. If you cannot find it, please check your spam/junk folder and turn off any VPNs. If you do not get an email within 24 hours, please message staff through email (admin@cossetlings.com) or #ask-staff channel on Discord. Once your email is verified, you'll need a deviantart or toyhou.se account to verify your account here. Please note you need an invite code to make a toyhou.se account while deviantart is free.
✿ How do I set an active character?
Click here and select a character from the dropdown list.
✿ How do I change a character's name and/or gift art status?
On the character's profile, select 'Edit Profile' under 'Settings' on the sidebar. You can enter a name in the 'Name' section and choose whether or not to allow gift art from the options under the 'Allow Gift Art' and 'Allow Gift Writing' dropdown lists.
✿ Do I have to make my Cossetlings lore-compliant?
Design-wise? Yes. Character/Background? Nope. You're free to use your Cossetlings however you like in regards to your personal stories. Official Cossetlings are still bound by the TOS no matter how you use them.
✿ Can Cossetlings crossbreed with another species?
No, crossbreeding isn't allowed.
✿ Can I void my Cossetling?
You can! Send in a claim. Do note voiding is irreversible and will make the Cossetling(s) permanently unofficial even if ownership changes or another MYO slot is purchased. Voided Cossetlings are no longer bound by the Cossetling TOS but rather the respective artist(s).
