The conductor is typically a very easygoing and kind person, always eager to help those around him. When he isn't doing his job, however, he tends to be more reserved and frequently isolates himself. Those who knew Ravi before he became a conductor can attest that he used to be much more filled with life and enthusiasm. How times have changed!
