Childhood ---------------------------------------

Raised in a small town on the outskirts of Scotland, Viola spent her childhood working in the fields, tending to the crops alongside her mother. Whenever the opportunity arose, she eagerly accompanied her mother on trips to town, gazing at the silk clothes and lace fabrics lined up behind plastered windows.

Back at home, she took to crafting all sorts of pastries, her absolute favorite following her mother's strawberry pie recipe. The pie was adorned with sweet berries that Viola would gather herself from the forest near their barn, this being a cherished tradition that added a special uniqueness to each pie.

YOUNG ADULT ------------------------------------

With enough money saved up from selling fruits and pastries, Viola's parents were able to send her off to schooling where she fell head over heels for one of her male classmates, this mutual passion blooming into a frighteningly unsuccessful marriage. Despite her unfortunate marriage, Viola birthed a son, losing him soon after he enrolled into the military at 16.

CURRENT DAY -------------------------------------
After her divorce following the death of her only son, Viola took to the fields again in search of work and a change in scenery, taking residence at a farm where rather than thinking about taxes and bustling city life, she can now worry about the sweetness of her jams and how well trimmed her magnolias are.
