MYO-003: Heloise

The world works in mysterious ways, particularly when a young cossetling finds themselves in a curious new world at the drop of a hat. Sometimes spatial rifts open spontaneously where a cossetling can be strolling back from the market only to find them transported to a sweltering desert, devoid of water. These interlopers can blink back to Latorre but they often find themselves in someplace completely removed from where they started from.

This is where Heloise steps in, she has experienced many worlds and understands how difficult reorienting yourself could be. She actively seeks lost cossetlings, with her lantern raised up high, to ensure the safety of the cossets that may stumble past. She makes sure that her bag is well equipped with anything a lost cossetling may need, including sandwiches with berries she harvested and a hand knitted blanket.

If you look at the dusty photographs in the guild halls, a young Heloise can be seen proudly being welcomed from her latest expedition, bag filled with souvenirs that she acquired from talking with locals. In the libraries are books penned by her, detailing the observations she made with glossy photographs supporting her words. Heloise still travels to other worlds on occasion, but she is happy doing the odd expedition just as a rescue trip, rather than participate in a lengthy investigation.

Her romps gradually petered out over the years. She prefers that the younger explorers get a chance to document new things. Especially since they always feel so happy to reinvent the wheel in new ways about the best way to blink, so to speak.

Her cosprouts, Vina and Rongi are often seen trailing after her. Vina's tracking senses are top notch, but it takes a lot of bribery before she is willing to help anyone. Rongi is much more amenable and will often to be see perched on Heloise's shoulder or nosing around in her bag.
