He was surprised at first when he realized the small dwelling WAS actually already in use, but Reeve's blunt acceptance of Niko's presence put the latter at ease and the two slowly got close, with Niko developing feelings for Reeve that he refuses to bring up lest it complicated their comfortable arrangement.
