Lauritz is a reclusive young man marked by the profound conviction that his touch brings death. A belief that has burdened him since childhood, keeping him at a careful distance from the possibility of any human connection and making him avoident of other cossetlings in order to shield them from the harm he believes he will inflict. Though he yearns for companionship, he remains imprisoned by the idea that he is a harbinger of death, forever condemned to navigate the world alone in order to protect those around him.

In recent years however, he has cautiously begun to step beyond the confines of his solitude, albeit donning gloves and ensuring to cover as much of his body as he can, staying out of crowded places and keeping his tail as close as possible. While his interactions with others are fleeting, perhaps with the right measures in place Lauritz will one day gain the confidence to be able to fully integrate into the community Latorre has to offer.

Over time, he's picked up a hobby of sketching, documenting the nature around him and the vibrant flora of other cossetlings not akin to his own. Though he's never shown another soul, one glance at his art would surprise you, pages upon pages of bright watercolour, all captioned with a date, time, and place, a heavy contrast to his almost gloomy appearance.

Has very pleasant handwriting.

Cosprouts seem to like him quite a lot, never leaving him alone whenever he's out. he can't imagine having one of his own, but he also doesn't believe he deserves it.

In a world full of so much plant life as Latorre, one of the main reasons he avoided setting foot outside was because he was terrified of making all the growth around him wilt.
