✿ prompt & gallery submissions
By particpating in the Cossetlings ARPG, you can get in-game currency and rewards by submitting work to the gallery and various prompts! If you want to know how to submit, keep reading!
Here are some general rules that apply to both prompt and gallery submissions.
- All work must be Cossetling-related* and made by you or properly-credited commissions.
- Work must be original. Bases, YCHs, etc. cannot be submitted for rewards. Previous submissions cannot be reused, including lightly-edited backgrounds.
- Heavy usage of asset brushes, tracing, photography, and 3D models is not allowed.
- AI work of any kind is not allowed.
- Work made with a base created solely by yourself can only be submitted once for rewards.
- Submissions are judged on a case-by-case basis, and staff reserves the right to reject any work.
- You cannot claim rewards on work you were commissioned for either RLC/in-game currency or in exchanged for characters. Only the commissioner/trader can.
- Only official Cossetlings on the masterlists can be used in submissions. Cosprouts you own and are attached to your Cossetling(s) can also be used.
*Cossetling-related means taking place in the Cossetling world and following Cossetling lore.
✿ submitting your prompt
First, you upload your work to the Prompt Gallery! Click '+ Submit' on the Prompt Gallery's main page or the plus-sign in the Prompt Gallery header on the main gallery page. Upload your image or upload your writing in the 'Text' section. Add a title and select the correct prompt from the dropdown list under 'Prompt'. Make sure to add any Cossetlings featured in your submission! You do this by entering their character code/number under the 'Character' section. It should be found on a Cossetling's profile and is either COS-### or MYO-###. For NPCs, just use their names!
Once submitted, your work should immediately be public in the Prompt Gallery. Once you've copied your submission's URL, you're ready to submit! Go here and click the 'New Submission' button. Select the correct prompt again from the dropdown list. You can also submit directly to a prompt by going to the Prompt List and clicking 'Submit Prompt' under the correct prompt for your submission.
Paste your submission's URL in the 'Submission URL' section. The 'Comment' section is optional but you can add questions, commentary, or hellos and thank yous.
Next is Reward Total. This important section determines your reward! Select the criteria that best fits your submission. You should always fill out your reward total or you won't get rewarded! This excludes certain prompts that may not require criteria and there is no total to reward.
Once again, add the featured Cossetling(s). This time, however, choose which one is the focus character of the submission. This is the 'main character' of your submission and it usually is your Cossetling!
The next section, adding items from your inventory/currency, can be ignored. Once you click 'Submit', you're done! All you have to do wait for your prompt submission to be approved!
Do note, submitting to the Prompt Gallery makes your submission public. If you wish to keep it private, you can put a Google Drive, Google Doc, or sta.sh link under 'Submission URL'. This option may not be available for certain prompts.
✿ submitting to the gallery
You can also get rewards for submitting to the General Gallery! Submitting is pretty much the same as submitting to the Prompt Gallery. This time, click '+ Submit' on the General Gallery page or the plus-sign in the General header on the main gallery page. Follow the Prompt Gallery instructions in regards to uploading your submission, adding a title, adding Cossetling(s) but remember to fill out the Reward Total! Once you click 'Submit', you're done! As usual, please wait for your gallery submission to be approved.
If your gallery submission doesn't fit criteria standards, you can submit to the Other Gallery! It will show up in your account's personal gallery but it won't be eligible for rewards.
✿ what if i don't have a cossetling yet?
If you don't, that's fine! Not all prompts require you to use your own Cossetling. For these, you can use a NPC or Cossetlings owned by other users. Make sure to only use Cossetlings that allow gift work. You can check the character's profile, especially the three button row that will tell you whether gift art or gift writing is ok. You can also ask for available Cossetlings in #cosset-request on Discord!
And you can always submit gift work to the General Gallery! Have fun!
