Magically Tasty!!

Frankie was eating breakfast with his best friend RockSmith, both were eating very bland cereal together as sugar made them both act up in very silly ways so while munching away carefully with the radio softly playing in the background, He finally tuned into his being and caught half of a candy ad about tasty Cossette's candied coveted cheerful curious candy corn! He stood up quickly after hearing the ad "RockSmith! We should advertise our candy!" they said finishing up his cereal quick then waited on his friend before cleaning the dishes quickly before grabbing him.

They carried him down the stairs of his humble little home to the basement with a secret tunnel, where does it lead? that's a story for another time as right now he's digging through a barrel full of taffy "Remember how we said we'd eventually eat all this candy? better idea! let's sell it and earn some GL while we can! this time of year is perfect for it!" His kerora gave a simple ribbit to his talk as they ate one with the eco friendly edible wrapper, why is it edible? don't worry about it. Frankie kept digging into the barrel before bringing out his hidden sack of GL.

He'll have to pay for a good advertisement as he grabbed a handful of candies to let the radio station enjoy the free samples as they hurried back up the stairs with RockSmith in his hand the other carrying two bags of goodies of different kinds "Oh uh, which way was the town again?" he didn't live near it at all and didn't often come to town since he was busy trying to locate an ocean, which is why his small home is small and not very well furnished with canned food all over the place, cereal can keep for a long time if you know how to store it! The milk he had to get whenever he returned to the main base.

Frankie found the trail to the train station and gave a happy bleat once he arrived, he got his ticket asap and was quietly riding the train with his kerora to town, the gentle sound of the train clacking away on the tracks almost lulled him to sleep but the sound of one of the train workers called out to the nearby town he would come to had him wake up. He hopped off with a thanks and asked for directions to the radio station "Down the main street take a left past-" he nodded along before running off happily, his lil hooves clip clopping away on the cobblestones that were smoothed down with wear.

They almost tripped in excitement but caught himself "RockSmith you ok?" the ribbit meant yes as they continued down the path and stood before a nice looking building with a curious tower on it, what's that thing? Oh! no time to wonder about that as they entered quietly and saw a small line at the reception desk, They got in line and patted RockSmith's head softly while communicating with him with a stare full of love and the kerora stared back with the same amount of affection. Frankie's turn slowly came "Hi, I would like an advertisement for my candy I'm going to start selling a few days before Halloween" the receptionist gave him the prices of how long the ads could be if he paid, he jingled his bag a little before telling her he'd like a one minute ad.

GL exchanged hands "Write down your advertisement here and we'll play it once a day for three days as that's what you paid for" He nodded and took the clipboard to think up a few things, what should he say? Should he be honest? Should he exaggerate? They weren't so sure but hugged his kerora lovingly while rubbing his face on top of his head "Oh RockSmith, advertisement is very hard but i know we can do it if we put our heads together" He then pressed his forehead to the others and closed his eyes, everything went quiet when he did this with his friend.

The two stayed like that for a minute and no more before he let out a bleat! He got it! He scribbled his advertisement down happily and handed it over along with the gift of candy "Here my candy that i'm selling, Share it with everyone please" He bid them a good day before hurrying off back home. He can't wait to listen to commercials tomorrow, it just can't come fast enough as he would have to stick around a while now, besides ocean finding is a spring and summer thing and he doesn't want to be trapped out in the middle of nowhere in the snow also his kerora would get sick if he did that.

Both go about their day normally then go to bed early as they do everyday, by the time morning rolled around frankie sat up sleepily and rubbed his eye "mmrrp" he made a silly noise trying to wake up as he looked over to his friend, they were happily sleeping in his kerora sized bed with a little night cap on their head, good he didn't disturb them so he can make breakfast now as they took a quick shower and dressed in his sailor suit, he had a lot of them in all sorts of colors while tip toeing to the kitchen, he turned the radio on and cooked a warm meal this time since he woke up late yesterday hence the cereal.

Absentmindedly they were humming along to some seasonal songs when the ads started rolling in, one about hoof polish then a different one about a delicious drink being served at the bar while supplies last, an ad about horn file to keep horns nice and smooth "Oh maybe i should get some polish" he said with a soft thoughtful hum when he jolted a bit at the next ad "Oh yeah! My commerical!!" they happily bleated as they listened in on it *-that's right for the last week of Halloween! Frankie's Bewitchingly Enticing Saltwater Taffy will be sold! So good it's kerora approved! Kerora will be there in costume while supplies last* Short and sweet to the point, that's right his idea was to dress up his best friend to not only show off but help sell candy!

He heard RockSmith call for him with that cute little croak of theirs so he plated up the food and got his friend ready for the day, they set him down by his side in his kerora sized table and chair with a plate of sweet oatmeal with berries, no nuts he's allergic. "You missed it RockSmith but it's ok we got a few more days to hear it so I'm sure you'll catch it next time" they gave a tiny ribbit and both ate while the radio played an assortment of popular songs for them, what a pleasant morning and of course there will be many more to come.
