Raincatcher Trouble?

Well it's that time of year again, Raul had to go and bring out the raincatchers but he wanted something more interesting to look at when it started to pour down here, he tried to think of what would make them more interesting to look at as he was looking over the gutters watching it pour water down not the gutter but the little raincatchers he had. How Does he fix this? Ugh he hasn't played with glass in a while so he feels rusty and there's no inspiration and WAIT HE JUST HAD AN IDEA!! Raul got up and stared at the gutters some more, maybe he could make a nice fishbowl like raincatcher but not only that, now stay with him here.

What if, hear him out, What if he made the gutter glass too? He could watch the water go down and gather at the end and maybe even a little water wheel that helps filter it down, now that he has the image in mind he's trying not to trip over himself as his tail had tangled around his legs when he was deep in thought. Raul was trying very hard not to fall while untangling it "Come on don't slow me down" He really had to fix that tail tangle habit when he's in an artistic thinking slump.

He finally got out of their worship and the man, the myth, the leg that ends at one point was in the glassmakers shop and paid good golden of leaves for the use of a kiln as they asked a few of the more veteran glassblowers for what he had in mind. They thought it interesting enough to help out if he asked for it but Raul wanted to do this all on his own if possible but if he really needed it they'll ask for help on the more trickier parts "Alright lets do this! I got this!!"

He of course needed some help with the water wheel and gutter he was making but other than that he was putting in most of the work himself, he was taking deep breaths carefully as to not inhale ash or anything he shouldn't. Yes Raul was getting used to each failed attempt of what he was trying to make, they needed to make this mostly himself or there was no meaning to it at least that's what he says but really he just loves to create when he is able to and this is doable, maybe, the waterwheel is giving everyone trouble since it needs to be a certain size.

But the smiles and joy of getting it completed was more than enough motivation when things did go right as him and the others cheered happily when they got the gutter finished and the water wheel "Thanks guys now....there's just one problem" the cheered subsided as they tried to think what could it be "I need to put this up but how do i do that?" ah, everyone stared at the glass gutter but someone said they'd probably do it for them while they finish up the raincatcher they were making.

"Thanks this helps a lot" he was afraid he'd drop it mid set up or something so now he can focus on the bowl he wanted to make, he wanted those fluted edges, the smooth curves as he wiped his brow free of sweat as Raul stared at his almost completed work "I think...this is the best raincatcher I've made yet!" he laughed out tiredly as he sat there waiting for the bowl to cool. It's simple round form with the lovely curves at the rim, if he could do more he would but he's not that into glassblowing or making so this will have to do and wait isn't there paint for windows or something that he could use on it? he'll think on it more later but for now it's time to rest.

Raul never felt so accomplished before, neither did the other guys thanking him for an interesting experience as they took the now cooled bowl and waved them off, casting magic and making a glass raincatcher and gutters with water wheels. He really took the whole thing to another level as he went to see the gutters in action as he placed the bowl down on a nice secure chair and watched as water flow clearly through the gutters, watching the wheels spin, and collect all in a bowl shaped raincatcher. What a day and look it's only five o' clock! he has plenty of time to do other things if he wanted but right now the sound of the rain collecting into the bowl was all he wanted to do after that mess, ok maybe he should have a bath or else he gets sick he did sweat a lot as he will come back shortly to watch his work some more once all dried and warm from his bath.
