Heidi smoothed her hands down her embroidered skirt as she grabbed her woven basket before heading out of her small cottage to head toward the nearby fields that she knew would be full of blooming flowers. Flowers that would be perfect to weave into a wreath with. She just needed to go picking several types up to bring them back to her cottage.

It didn't take Heidi long to reach the fields and she had to smile at how quiet it was. Void of other visitors. Just her and the spacious fields filled to the brim with flowers and plants.
*Good. Maybe I can pick few flowers up to use in my herbal remedies...?*

The Lily of the Valley Cossetling moved to kneel down by flowering lavender, reached for the small pouch she always kept strapped around her waist and opened it so Heidi could pull out small shears and began to snip the flowers at the stem, leaving enough room for weaving among other purposes. It was not long before her basket had large bunch of lavenders filling it up and Heidi moved away; putting her shears away as she pushed off her knees onto her hooves with a soft sigh.

"Lavender down, let's see what other plants I can harvest...." Heidi pondered as she moved on to look for another fields.

Cornflowers. They would accompany the lavenders beautifully so she set her basket down and moved further into fields to smell the lovely blue flowers scattering the fields so full of lovely gentle scent. The bright shade of blue would compliment the soft purple shade of lavender. Not to mention the contrast of the shapes between lavender's steam flowering petals and cornflower's open faced petals. Heidi felt it would make quite a pretty wreath so she snipped away in happiness as the bundle by her hooves grew steadily until she felt it would be enough to fill her basket up.
She does sit down as the shears went back in her pocket so she could enjoy the simple and quiet scenery full of cornflowers around her.

Then it was time for one of her favorite flowers, Yarrow. They were small flowers that grew in clusters and she loved using them in her herbal remedies. Not to mention there's a field near her cottage that had plenty of yarrow growing! With a happy hum, Heidi made her way over to the fields near her cottage, her basket nearly full to the brim with the flowers harvested so far. She does set the basket down near her cottage as she head out to the fields, knowing her pocket pouch will be enough to house the yarrow she plans to harvest.

As she settled down in the fields full of the clustering white small flowers and began to harvest them, she chose a soft happy tune to hum to while harvesting. She would be separating the flowers into two parts; one for wreath and other for her herbal needs. It truly made her happy to think about it all.

Once yarrow had been harvested, Heidi returned to her cottage to begin to separate the three flowers into two piles. Then she set one of piles aside on another larger table as she sat at the smaller table with the wreath base as she carefully began to weave lavenders, yarrows and cornflowers in mesmerizing patterns until it was lovely appealing wreath in white, lavender and blue with three different distinct shapes.

It would make for a stunning wreath to hang on her front door where anyone else could walk by and admire. Not to mention it would give her immense pleasure to see each time she leave and return her cottage.
