"Oh my! The cuerasus has messed up the scarecrows out in the fields and you need some help fixing that up? Sure we can help out" Heidi answered as Cree peeked out from behind her with some flowers in his hands; having been helping her sort her flowers out in preparation for using them in their usual individual products.
"Lead on, Whitlea~" The dark skinned Cossetling gestured to the sweet farm girl who led them both away from Heidi's cottage and toward Whitlea's farm where the mentioned scarecrow in need of repair would be easily found. Cree managed to swipe some fabric and a couple of other equipment on his way out without Heidi noticing but he knew she would not be upset with him.

".....Oh my. That's quite the...." Heidi chewed on her lower lip as she stared at the scarecrow that looked like it could use some restuffing, brand new fabric and more sewing.....Plus the hat was missing? How did that manage to occur?

"The cuerasus sure had a lot of fun!" Cree laughed cheerfully as Whitlea pouted.
"We can surely fix it up, right Heidi?" The short male Cossetling glanced up at Heidi who nodded, paused, eyed him then sighed with amusement.

"Thank you for your foresight to swipe a few of my stuff, Cree. Let's take this down and get started?" She glanced toward Whitlea who promptly set about taking the scarecrow down so they could settle on the ground and set to repairing it.

While Whitlea went ahead to gather some spare wheat stalks and straws to restuff the scarecrow with, Cree removed the clothing for mending.

Heidi immediately took the long-sleeved shirt for herself to mend as she far prefered them due to her distaste for pants and similar articles of clothing. That left Cree to work on the pants.

Heidi glanced over the materials Cree had swiped from her cottage and noticed assorted fabric in varying sizes, sewing needles, threads and scissors. Perfect. She and Cree took one pair of scissors each so they could get started on sniping the fabric to correct size for where they would be placed on the torn clothing.

"You really swiped my most eccentric fabrics, Cree" Heidi chuckled as Cree glanced up, neon color block patterned fabric in his hands and he grinned at her shamelessly. In Heidi's hands was pale blue with black pinstripes as well as white and dark reddish purple diamonds. There were more scattered on the ground. They worked to mend the clothing with light chatter between them. By time they had finished both the long sleeved shirt and the pants; Whitlea returned with more straws and wheat stalks.

"Sorry I took so long! Got pulled away by some visitors for a chat but I got those. OH look like you two had SO MUCH fun fixing the clothing" She giggled as she noticed the assortment of eccentric fabrics attached to the clothing waiting to be stuffed with straws.
"I also found a new hat to replace. Let's get this up and stuff it up." Whitlea grinned as Cree and Heidi both rose to their hooves and stood the scarecrow up. The pants got stuffed with straw and properly secured with the ropes at the hems. The shirt followed suit and secured.

"This looks better like this!" Cree cheered as he and Heidi high fived after stepping back to admire.

OF COURSE a cuerasu just so happens to swoop in and perch right on top of the straw hat. As the little cossprout settled comfortably, the hat shifted lopsided to the side much to Whitlea's bemusement.

"It looks so silly but I think it's perfect!"
